      <image:title>About - Hi, I’m Nabila</image:title>
      <image:caption>I grew up in Indonesia surrounded by food that was deeply healing, rich with spices, whole ingredients, and purpose. When I moved to the US at 18, I noticed almost immediately how different I felt. More tired. More inflamed. More disconnected from my body. That experience is part of why I do this work. I know firsthand what it feels like when your food stops working for you and what it feels like when it starts again. I hold a B.S. in Clinical Nutrition from UC Davis, a certification as a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (FNTP) through the Nutritional Therapy Association, and a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) certification. Early in my career I worked as a weight loss counselor, supporting over a hundred clients one-on-one and that's where I learned that the same diet can transform one person and leave another feeling worse. Health is deeply individual. "What is nutritional therapy?" Nutritional therapy is a root-cause approach to health. Rather than managing symptoms, we look at what's driving them through the lens of nutrient status, digestion, blood sugar balance, stress, and lifestyle. My training through the Nutritional Therapy Association taught me to treat the whole person, not just the complaint. My approach is additive, not restrictive. We don't start by taking things away. We start by figuring out what your body actually needs and building from there. Using the principles of nutritional therapy, I assess your full symptom picture, health history, and lifestyle to identify the root causes of how you're feeling, then create a plan that works with your body rather than against it. I'm based in San Diego, CA, where I also teach private and group yoga. I work with clients locally and remotely, and I love what I do.
